Poetry Workshop & Poetry Talent Nights
Held during the 1st week of each month
Workshop Evenings.
A one-and-a-half hour workshop, followed by a crit-reading. Poets read a poem they have brought with them, each poem followed by comments and constructive criticism by the rest of the group. Please bring several copies of your poem.
Talent Nights
Talent Nights are bit like a Poetry Slam. You will be voted on by all those listening. The final three poems will be commented on by a panel and the finalists themselves will also speak for or against, before another vote. The winner gets a £20 book token!

The Poetry Reading Group
Meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except in December when it is earlier.
Readings are either from an anthology, or by Members’ Choice, on alternate months.
On Members’ Choice nights, please bring several copies of the poems you have chosen.
